An AI song generator does the performing. Your job is the part only you can do: knowing what the song is about and how it should feel. This walk-through uses Hitz AI, but the decisions are the same in any app.
1. Decide how to start
Hitz AI gives you three ways in:
- Describe Song: write a sentence or two about the song and let the app write the lyrics and choose the style. The fastest route.
- Generate Lyrics: describe the idea, get lyrics back, edit them until they sound like you, then make the music.
- My Own Lyrics: paste words you already have.
If the song is for a person, Generate Lyrics is usually the sweet spot: the app drafts, you add the details only you know.
2. Choose the sound
Pick a genre from 21 presets, from Pop and Country to 90s Rap, Afrobeats, K-Pop and Lullaby, or choose Custom and describe any style you like. Add a mood if you want to steer the feeling, from Happy and Heartfelt to Late-Night and Epic. Then choose a female lead, a male lead or a duet, or switch on instrumental only.
3. Pick a model
Hitz AI has four models, and you pick one per song:
- V8 Fast: a quicker take that still keeps the musical detail. Two takes per song.
- V8 Pro: lifelike vocals and rich arrangements, with the most control over your sound. Two takes per song.
- V8 Evo: wilder, less predictable readings of your lyrics and style. Two takes per song.
- V8 Raw: simpler arrangements, and the least likely to be held up by content limits. One take per song.

4. Create, then compare
A song takes a couple of minutes. On the models that return two takes, listen to both before you decide. They are two readings of the same brief, and one usually wins quickly. Supported songs show sing-along lyrics while they play.
5. Keep it and send it
Every song lands in your Library with cover art. Download it as an MP3 or share it straight to Messages, WhatsApp, email or AirDrop. The person you send it to does not need the app. The terms say you own the song, commercial use included.
