Write a Christmas song about the people coming home this year. Describe a family tradition and the sound you want, or paste lyrics you wrote yourself. Hitz AI makes the music and vocals, and you can save the finished track as an MP3 to send to your family.
We make Hitz AI at Tuvo Labs.
Start with something that happened
A request for a happy Christmas song gives the model very little to work with. Give it the detail your family would recognize: the kitchen radio, the train someone always misses, or the decoration that comes out every year.
Choose who the song is for and what you want to say to them. Add the name as you want it sung. If pronunciation matters, listen carefully before sending; a name in a prompt does not guarantee the performance you had in mind.
Leave out anything the recipient would rather keep private, especially if you plan to play the song to a roomful of people.
Choose the Christmas sound you want
Christmas is a style you can describe, rather than a separate Hitz AI preset. For a small family song, try acoustic guitar, a warm lead vocal and light sleigh bells. For a party, ask for upbeat pop with a clear chorus. Jazz piano and brushed drums suit a quieter version.
Use a custom style when the instruments matter. If you already have words to sing, choose the option for your own lyrics and set the genre and voice separately. The genre guide explains those choices.
Describe the musical ingredients instead of asking for a copy of a familiar recording or an imitation of its singer.
A Christmas brief you can adapt
This example is fictional. Replace its details with yours:
Write a warm Christmas song about Sam taking the late train home. Mum leaves a plate in the oven; the dog steals ribbon from the presents. Acoustic guitar, brushed drums and light sleigh bells. A clear, gently sung chorus. Use these family details in a new melody.
In the main app, choose Describe song on a model that offers it and enter your version of the brief. That mode handles the lyrics and style together. To review the words first, use Generate lyrics, edit the draft, and then make the song. See Describe song for the difference between the starting options.
For an office party, make the same change you would make in a card: replace family memories with a shared work story, keep the joke kind, and remove details someone would not want repeated.
A short lyric example
We wrote these lines for the fictional train-home brief. Adapt them to fit your own Christmas:
[Verse]
Your train got in at half past ten
The station lights were low
We left the kitchen lamp switched on
And watched you cross the snow
[Chorus]
Leave your bag beside the doorway
There's a plate beside the stove
We can open things tomorrow
We're just glad you made it home
Use the option for your own lyrics to keep control of the words. Short lines give the singer room to phrase them. Repeat a chorus you want people to remember, then listen for any words that become crowded. The lyrics-to-song guide covers preparing a longer lyric.
Listen before you send it
Play the full track. Check the names and the line that carries your message. If a verse sounds generic, replace one broad line with a detail only the recipient would recognize before making another version.
Generation time and results vary. A new generation can use credits, so check the cost shown in the app before trying again.
Save the MP3 and send the file
- Open the completed song in your Library.
- Use the download action to save its MP3 to Files.
- Send that saved file through Messages, email or another app that accepts audio, or play it from Files at the gathering.
Keeping the file also gives you a copy outside the local Hitz AI library. Save songs you want before removing the app; deleting it removes that local library. The recipient can use an audio player to hear the MP3 and does not need a Hitz AI account. See the file-sharing guide for more help.

Use words you have permission to use
Write your own holiday lyrics or use material you have permission to include. Hitz AI's terms prohibit copyrighted lyrics without permission and impersonating real people. A familiar Christmas song can involve separate rights in its words, music and recording; this guide does not clear those rights.
For a song you plan to publish or use in an ad, read the commercial-use guide and the applicable terms for your intended use.
Questions
Can the song include family names?
Yes. Include the names in your description or your own lyrics, then check how the generated track pronounces them before sharing.
Can I write the Christmas lyrics myself?
Yes. Use the option for your own lyrics. You can also generate a lyric draft and edit it before making the music.
Is Christmas a built-in genre?
No. Describe the holiday sound you want in Describe song or a custom style, such as acoustic guitar with light sleigh bells.
Does my family need Hitz AI to play it?
No. Save the MP3 and send the file. They need a way to play an audio file, not a Hitz AI account.
